I love to shop

Seriously...I'm like the brokest broke person in the world...yet I love to shop.  I mean I can't stop shopping.  It's sad!!  Today I went to Nordstrom's Rack ( I love that store).  I went there because they always have shoes for my extra large feet (size 11).  OMG.  I found some of the cutest shoes.  Of course I tried them on to make sure they would look perfect.  But they were not perfect.  They were off a little.  I'm not sure why.  So I tried on a pair of flats in size 11...they were like damn flip flops.  Hot damn...my feet have gotten smaller.  I tried on the size 10's...to damn tight.  Are you kidding me.  I'm wearing a freaking size 10.5.  Do you know how hard it is to find a size 10.5...extremely.  Drives me insane.  Yet, they carry them at NR.  I found two cute pair.  I got the cutest pair of Cole Haan black pumps for $75.  That was pretty awesome for a pair of shoes that start at $248.  I'm one happy chica.

Oh yeah.  I am firmly in a size 18.  What?!?!  Yup...I can't believe it either.  I'm happy...but it's only the beginning.  There are more sizes to drop.  Many many more.

Healthy living is hard for someone who is addicted to sugar.  Yup...that would be me.  I can do great all day...and then after a great workout...all I want to do is consume cookies, cakes, anything with sugar.

Please share with me some of your healthy sweet snacks.  I need all the help I can get.

On the weight loss front I was down 1.8 as of Wednesday last week.  Well do to my sugar infused binges those 1.8 came back.  I'm so glad they didn't bring any extra with them.  I'm still well on my way to losing the 5 lbs I need to lose for the month.

Exercise this week will only consist of 3 days.  I need to study for my test.  So 3 days a week for the next two weeks until after I pass my test.  Meal planning is also on the menu.  Mostly fish and chicken.  I have a plan on trying some new veggies.  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.  Thanks!!

Have a great week everybody.

P.S.  I'm going to try not to shop for one full month.  Wish me luck.

Geez I wish we lived near each other. I am an 11 that has dropped to a 10 and I just got out of Size 18 - we could have gone shopping together! The sugar thing gets me every time - I have no idea on good things to eat to curb cravings?!? Otherwise I would probably be A LOT smaller.

Woo Hoo on the size 18! You are melting away my lovely!

As far as snacks that bring sweet but not the calories.

I have this wonderful chocolate protein pudding I make.

Use a box of regular pudding and add protein powder unflavored UNJURY is what I prefer, and then I also add cottage cheese, and blend it all up with your mixer. This has a huge amount of protein and it is sweet and it not filled with artificial sweetners that really cause problems for my tummy and make me crave carbs!

It is quick and easy!

I've got some clothes for you. I will bring them when I see you at the end of the month!

I love organic light agave nectar! it's like honey, but better for you. You could put it on toast, maybe that would help with the 'sweet' addiction. Or what about a fruit smoothy, with some cocoa powder or something?

My latest sweet treat is the Nature Valley Protein Chewy Bar...I like the Peanut, Almond and Dark Chocolate flavor...think of dark chocolate topped with a chewy granola bar...it satisfies my sweet tooth and has 10g protein for 190 calories.

My go to snack at night when I am craving chocolate/ sugar is swiss miss diest hot cocoa with chocolate soy milk ~ 50 cal with the soy milk ~ and if that doesn't calm the beast then I have a tbs of peanut butter 95cal...woo ho on the smaller shoes!

So excited about your size 18 and the smaller shoe size. I started as a 10.5 (yes it is hard to find) and I am now a 10. I am hoping to get into a 9.5 or 9 when everything is said and done then I could find shoes like everyone else!

Way to go on wearing a a size 18. I know that feels great. My feet shrank also when I lost weight. All the best on your one month shopping free.

I can comment! YAY! I can't on most people's. :)

I'm really bad at snacking especially at night, but I love sugar free pudding cups, especially dark chocolate.

I love the Rack!!

Size 18!!! Woo Hoo! That's a "normal" size!

Sugar can be an issue for me too. I find that what works best is to do a few things. #1 - I don't eat artificial sweeteners. They are way too sweet and full of funky chemicals. #2 - I limit sweets to about three servings per week. I plan for them. I don't feel guilty or ashamed when I eat them. I try to be aware of the taste when I'm having them. I will turn off the TV just to make sure that I am truly enjoying them. #3 - I am aware that sweet things cause cravings for more sweet things or other carbs and I am aware of that when I have them.

Woo-hoo on the down-sizing (though I'm sorry about the half-size). My feet are smaller too, but still lopsided (my left foot is a half-size smaller than my right). It's awesome, let me tell you.

Shopping kills me. I am officially out of closet room, yet I keep buying more clothes. I have so much new stuff that I haven't worn 1/3 of what is in my closet. It's a sickness.
