This week I have worked hard on getting and staying on track with my eating. Of course it is easier said than done. However, I can attest to doing a great job. I did learn something though.
Having a completely empty band does not allow you to get full on 1 to 1 1/2 cups of food. Nope. No matter how hard I tried...bandster portions were not enough. I measured everything and brought enough for the day...or so I thought. I would get hungry exactly 1 to 2 hours after eating. The next thing you know I have eaten all of my food for the day...and the day is only half over. Needless to say it has been a rough week. There have been a couple of trips tot he vending machine.
Next week I will plan my foods for my empty band.
Hope everyone has a great week.
P.S. I hate the new blogger.

Hang in there!! :)
Try no band at all... Yikes!
yeah when my band was empty (which was 97% of the time I had it)--I could eat exactly as much as I could pre-band. No diff what so ever. It's so hard. You're being accountable though girl and that's where ya gotta start! hang in there!
Be strong my love!
Ugh, I am just catching up on your band drama, unfills, slips, etc. Sorry it has been such a rollercoaster. I hope it all works out for you:)
I'm right there with you. Empty band syndrome. I fortunately haven't really gained, but I DEF haven't lost. I can eat pretty much any and everything and get really REALLY hungry. I feel your pain. To top it off my insurance denied my revision surgery and said I have to wait until it's been 2 years since my original surgery. Sooo... it's either go to Mexico or wait until June. meh. Hang in there girl. I'm rootin for you.
