I'm vain. I know this. I truly care about how I look. Always have and always will. Even at my heaviest I made it my business to dress myself well.
It helps that I love to shop. One of the main reasons I had surgery is so that I could shop at more places. I'm happy to report I can go into any store and fit the clothes.
I'm currently in a size 16 pant and a M/L shirt. I'm down to 219.8 as of this morning. My starting weight the day of my lap band surgery was 311. I lost 50 lbs with my band. But after the complications started I gained. The morning of my revision to sleeve I weighed 275. That was 14 weeks ago.
I'm super excited to be on this journey.

So glad to hear it! Just had my band removed two days ago and looking forward to the revision to sleeve in the near future! I, too, want to shop in more stores - perhaps not being able to is the reason I've never really been a fan of shopping?
You rock your bad self! That is awesome - and dammit I love shopping too. Now to win the lotto so I shop wherever I want!
You've always looked/dressed/been fantastic, and I love ya. Can't wait to see all of your hot new outfits when you get to goal. :)
And damn, woman! 55+ lbs in 14 weeks?! You're going to be at goal in no-damn-time!
P.S. - Text me on Monday and let me know what you hear!
Yeah for shopping. And summer is almost here. Well spring hasn't sprung yet way up here in the North but we're hopeful. But I'm sure the warmth is creeping in down in Texas, except for those hail stones I saw on the news. Make sure you get bargains--they're the best clothes to wear.
I'm soooooo impressed with you! You'll have to show us all you finds!
XO
That is great. I am thrilled for you!
Wow, i'm so impressed! I started the process but then chickened out. Your process is inspirational.

You are doing AMAZING! Shopping is absolutely one of my biggest motivations too! There is nothing quite like walking into ANY store and knowing they will have my size.
