I didn't make it to Body Pump or Zumba last night. My mom wasn't feeling well (she stayed up the night before reading a book), so I had to stay home with the kiddos. No biggie. Tomorrow is another day.
I received my ATT Letter informing me that I had been approved to retake the test. Yup. I'm scheduled to take the test on June 16th. Seems like forever...but it is only 4 months. I'm already mapping out my study schedule.
On the band front. I have an appointment for a fill on February 14th...Valentine's day for most people...just another day in the month for me. I know she is not going to want to give me a fill...but I need one. Yes, I've almost lost 10 lbs since the last visit...but I'm HONGRY!!!
Yesterday while reading the many fashion blogs I follow (all are about women with curves), I decided to give thrifting a try...again. Keep in mind I have absolutely NO DAMN PATIENCE so this is a big deal. In my research I found a consignment shop her in Austin exclusively for plus sized women. What the what?!?! Yup...I'm going this weekend. It's not like I need any clothes...but I just want to see what they have to offer. Other than a little shopping, working and bill paying...my weekend is going to be boring.
What are you weekend plans? I hope they are better than mine.

My weekend plans are pretty dull actually. I have a surprise planned for Hubby tonight (can't put it out on my blog b/c he reads it), then a girls' day with my daughters tomorrow...pedicure, build a bear workshop and maybe a little treat.
I tried my hand at thrifting but my "personal shopper" God's Favorite Shoe's came with me to help. You should check out her blog. She picked out things that I wouldn't have. And she helped me put together looks.
Yes, thrifting is very overwhelming and you have to have a plan. When I go I look for certain things: jean jackets, jackets, belts, and handbags.
I have trouble with thrifting to...same reason. I love going to look for furniture and stuff but clothing is just so tedious going from rack to rack to rack. I did fine a vintage shop that was pretty cool though-found a 60's dress and coat that I really like.
Home schooling with Grace is going really well. My husband was afraid that we would fight all the time (because we were when she was at school). Now...no fighting everything is mellow and we are falling into a rhythm where she decides what she wants to get done and works away at it. We even had a chat about her making progress on a knitting project and class she was slacking on. She has picked up the pace on that (after and initial push back).
Good luck with your test and the shopping! That valentines stuff is overrated sometimes anyway. I hope you get your fill..Hongry is not fun.
xxxoooo
Weekend plans ~ long run ~ work ~ do taxes ~ long Bike ~ work ~
not exciting at all
Good luck thrifting ~ I suck at it!
Glad you got your next test date, but you are right the 4 months will fly by quickly! So they have a thrift shop for plus size here? Where? Lol. My friend loves to thrift shop... so please post it or let me know. Nothing major for me this weekend either. Just working more OT. And cleaning/packing to move to our new place on the 15th. JOY! Hope you have a great weekend though.
Ugh - bowling I guess. I'd rather be out shopping with you!
I'm gonna need you to post a picture with all your finds. I know you told me about 'em, but it's just not the same.
Also, love you! And send me a damn word. ;)
My fill is on Vday too! Awww...does that make you my Valentine? :)
Glad you're retaking the test again. Hopefully that 4 months will go by fast and you'll have plenty of time to study!
I'm getting a fill on Valentine's Day too so we can all 3 be Valentines!
