When I find these wonderful blogs I like to read from the very beginning. It is amazing to read how each woman has worked toward her goal.
Lap Band Gal did a post about her small dishes, tiny utensil's and food scale (here). Well at first I thought...no way would that tiny plate fill me up. I was wrong. In an effort to make smart nutrition choices and to learn from women who have had successful weight loss I decided to give it a try.
Here is a meal I had on my small plate (grilled talapia, sauteed spinach with feta and roasted potatoes) and a picture of my scale. The meal was very filling and I didn't require seconds.
I found the plates and small bowls at target, bed bath & beyond as well as small silverware at ross. I am so happy that Lap Band Gal shared her secrets of success in her blog. Now if I could only get myself to journal.
Thanks again!!
P.S. The quiche was good as well. Thanks for the recipe.

Thanks for the shout out, I am so happy you have found something useful from my blog...sometimes I just feel like I am randomly talking about nonsense! LOL! That digital scale is perfect. I use mine everyday. Keep fighting the good fight...you can do it! :)
PS: I use a new post it note each day to journal my food...maybe give it a try?
Interesting. How much was the scale? Can you post the tiny utensils. I think this can help me with making sure I don't go over the portion size. Since that has been my biggest struggle...I was eyeing it. Haha.
