PBing, slime...and puking....so not cool

I have been banded almost 6 months.  In that time I have only twice had a stuck episode.  Each time if I just sat still it would just pass.  Well today took it to a whole new level.  It took me to a place I never want to visit again.

So I made my spinach, feta, egg white breakfast with a whole wheat mini pita pocket.  This is a meal I have had several times since being banded.  It has never given me a problem.  This was the first time since my recent fill on Tuesday that I went for bread.  Apparently, that fill ended my breaded life.

I'm sitting there feeding my son a Popsicle after having the meal because I'm stuck.  I figure it would just pass as usual.  NOT.  I had to drop the kid and run to the bathroom.  It was PB and slimming.  No biggie...then I realized I had to puke.  Me puke...nah...I don't puke.  I hate to puke.  Well I had no damn choice.  Well I think it is over so I head back out to finish feeding the baby his Popsicle.  About 10 seconds in I had to drop the kid again...more damn puke.  And it hurt.

I am over bread.  I can not stand to have this type of pain in my life.  Whew.

speechless right now... You just took my appetite...lol Thanks I was craving junk food.

On a serious note I hope you feel better. I am not an expert of any sort on this topic but bread is your #1 enemy right about now.

Don't discount the spinach! When I have good restriction, spinach will get me every time!

Spinach is my nemesis! I can still do toast but need to be very slow and and steady.

yeah, bread and crackers are a thing of the past for me.. I know that feeling you described, I had to really adjust what I ate with each fill, some people dont but I did.. thats why they say chew chew chew...

I had to give up bread a while ago...I can do well toasted if I take teeny bites and chew to a pulp, but I try to limit it. I feel for you...the first really bad PB/stuck/puke episode is the worst!!!

Spinach gets me everytime too. Bread, sometimes I can do it, but never before the evening! Feel better!

I have a REALLY hard time with bread first thing in the morning. Remember, chew a lot and go slow and you may have to save bread for lunch and dinner.

Welcome to the wonderful world of bread deprivation. I've been there for a while. They only thing I can manage is flour tortillas. Thank God for my little Mexican saviors. Without them I would be so unhappy because it's like bread but tolerable for me!
