Frustrated can not even begin to explain how I am feeling about the battle the scale and I are having. I have been sitting pretty at 31 pounds loss for over a month now. At six months out I would like to see a more substantial weight loss. It is depressing at times. However, I refuse to let it define this experience for me.
I know in my heart of hearts that the best is yet to come. The scale is evil. I mean my clothes are falling off my body, but the damn scale won't budge. I know we have all been here...but damn it I don't want to take up residency in plateauville. Nope...I will not.
Time for something new. Any exercise suggestions. I'm already doing Zumba 3 days a week. I power walk on Thursday for 3 miles. All suggestions are welcomed.
I'm done bitching....for now. I will post my progress pictures tonight. I hope everyone is having a fabulous week.

Just keep doing what you're doing. The scale will catch up.
It sounds like u are doing good with thw workouts! U should, however, add in some weight training. Also, the time of day u work out could be important. How is ur food? And remember, measurments are a much better measurement of progress than the scale. Ur doing great!
Add me to the residents of Plateauville!!! I have been hovering between 35-45 down for the last 3-4 months. We can do this!
As others have already said, weight training is very important. You need to keep challenging your muscles too. So if you start out using 5 lb hand weights, try to raise it the next week to 8 lb weights. Doing 8 reps in good form with a heavier weight is better for building muscle (read active tissue) then doing 12 - 15 with a lighter weight. Good luck, we're here with you.
You can do it. Yes, it will come in time. I lost about 30ish pounds the first year, then didn't lose the bulk of my weight until I was almost four years out. Never give up!
drink more water!! I noticed I had slacked off with drinking and I sat in a plateau when things had been moving well. This week I focused on water intake and dropped 4 lbs :)
