As you all know I have been working on transferring my follow-up care to another practice. I don't feel that I am receiving the quality of care that I deserve at True Results. I contacted a local bariatric surgeon group and made sure all of my paperwork was in order.
The surgeon said No to accepting me as a new patient. Her reasoning was since I lived in the area at the time of my surgery I should have been aware of all my options. I'm disappointed that I was not accepted as a patient. However, that only means there is a better practice for me somewhere else.
I'm still on the look out. I have not cancelled my appointment with True Results for August 2nd. However, I am hoping to find a new practice before then.

Honestly, that doctor sound like a spoiled brat for not accepting you. Sort of like "since you didn't come to me first for treatment, I'm going to be a big old bitch and not treat you now...nanny, nanny Boo-Boo."
You know what I have to say about that? Fuck her for turning down your money in this economy. It shows she might have a doctorate, but no common sense or belief in the Hippocratic oath she took. She will treat patients...just the ones she wants to.

I have to agree with Stephanie, in all aspects but especially in that you'll find someone even better!
You'll find a good place. it's like that old saying: you look for it then you can't find it, but once you stop worrying/looking, the thing you were looking for just pops up. or something like that. well, you get the idea.
I think because it's so hot here i'm losing brain cells. yup, i'm for sure that's what's happening.

I believe that the universe presents us with what we need when we need it. As long as we put in the legwork! Hee hee, you will find the perfect center for you hon, keep looking.

It sucks that doctors aren't more willing to help out a patient who is unhappy with their current level of care. It's not like you are having complications or anything, you just want to receive better follow up care...gesh!

OMG! That sucks. I was hoping to hear good news for you, also since I'm looking because I hate True Results and the people there too. I know your pain personally because thats the same woman that I've dealt with.
