So I have decided to give up bread and the 1 soda a week I allow myself. I am so not sure why I would torture myself this way. I already know I never crave anything until I tell myself I can't have it.
Are cookies and tortillas chips considered bread?!? I'm just asking...because I don't know if I can break myself from them. Seriously those Multi Grain tortilla chips are FIYAH!!!
I didn't not make it to the dreadmill last night. I was drained after filing taxes. Ugh...so annoying. However, a tax refund is indeed coming my way. I can't believe y'all have never saw that cute little t-shirt. I think I saw it at Walgreen. LOL
This morning with a lot of effort I forced myself to do a 20 minute express Zumba workout. I don't know how y'all work out in the morning. It just makes me sleepy. Which is not a good thing since I drive 1 hour to work...and that is a challenge...because I get sleepy when the car starts to move...even if I'm on the driver's side. So sad...I know. I wake up my Granny most days and make her talk to me.
I was never a big fan of sweets. Since being banded that's all I think about. I have to have something sweet every night. Is that normal. Does anyone else dream of cookies and cakes?

I have a hard time working out in the mornings too. Actually I dont have enough energy to exercise before 6pm...lol My goal for this week was to do a 20min workout every morning but I havent gotten around to that yet. Cookies and Chips arent breads but you should eventually work them out of your diet too because of the sugar and salt content. But do it at your own pace. Good luck!
I was never a huge fan of cookies (with the exception of Oreos) but I made the mistake of buying these Striped Fudge/Shortbread cookies at the Dollar Tree of all places. THEY ARE DELICIOUS and they are only a dollar for what would cost $3.99 for Fuge Stripe cookies at the grocery store. Damn you bargain stores!! They are officially my addiction/special treat now.
I can't workout in the morning either. My heart rate doesn't get as high and I don't push as hard. I know it is crazy but I do better in the evening before dinner.
I worked out in the AM for months before. Then I lost my motivation to continue, now I sleep until it's time to start getting ready for work. I want to start making an effort to walk my dog in the AM. I think it will be good for him and get some extra energy out before he has his long day alone in the house.
Chips and cookies are not bread. I agree that makingthings off limits only makes me want them more. I do better with an all things in moderation philosophy. Great job on the morning exercise!
