I need a nap

I miss taking naps.  Before my angels arrived I would get home from work and go straight to bed.  I would take a 45 minute to an hour nap.  I would feel refreshed and ready to take on the world for the rest of the day.  No so much anymore.  I feel that I am sleep deprived.  LOL  I wake up at 5:30 a.m. and I go to bed no later than 12:30 a.m.  That is just not enough. 

I would love to go to sleep earlier.  However, everything I need to accomplish has to be done after the kids are asleep.  This includes exercise, cleaning, etc.  I just want to take a nap.  I even asked my husband (he is a jerk sometimes) if I could take a nap when I came home.  He always wants to make a damn deal.  I like dude.  I do everything for you and those kids.  I can't get a damn nap.  OK...I'm done venting.

Challenge update

So Wednesday night was Zumba baby.  I enjoyed it, but I didn't sweat much.  The reason being is the assistant instructor was not there.  She has tons of energy and she works us out like it's against the law.  I love her. 

Thursday I walked mostly.  Nothing to strenuous.  Oh wait...I'm wrong.  Apparently I'm a body builder.  LOL  I went to Lowe's to purchase a water dispenser and 5 gallon water bottles.  Well needless to say not one sales person assisted me in this transaction.  When I found the water dispenser at the back of the store I didn't have a cart.  I carried the water dispenser all the way to the front of the store.  Then I get to the register and I saw I would like 2 of the 5 gallon bottles of water.  She says to me, "they are over there."  Soooo I go grab the water jugs and pay for everything.  I finally get a cart and load up my goodies.  Then a employee finally asks if I need help.  I say all of this to say I lifted weights yesterday.  LOL

Food intake has been awesome.  With the exception of the peach cobbler I had for lunch yesterday.  I'm sorry...I couldn't resist.  It was like a little slice of heaven in my mouth.

The weekend should consist of 2 Zumba classes and hopefully a hike.  Not so certain on Zumba since the instructor I like is not going to be teaching the class anymore.  She is not certified...so the Zumba organization will not allow her to instruct the class under their trademark.   I'm not happy about this because the Fitness place knew she wasn't certified and still allowed her to teach.  Now she can't.  I like her moves.  I would suggest a class name change so that she can teach.  LOL

Well that is all.  It's time for some BYOC baby!

I agree with needing a nap! The hike sounds like so much fun!

Maybe you should just come home one afternoon and go nap. Don't "ask", don't make a deal, just do it. Just walk in, greet everyone, then go straight to your room, and say, "See you in an hour. I'm taking a nap."

I hope your fave Zumba instructor goes & gets licensed!

What is up with your gym, hiring someone who cannot do what she is hired to do? Seems dumb to me. I agree with Sarah- just take the nap!

I love, love, love naps, but I'm always so much grumpier after. And can't sleep at night! I don't know how you function on five hours of sleep! And yes, lifting water jugs counts as weight lifting!

I love napping too, but like Wallflower said, I'm grumpy after and I cannot sleep during the night. Wow...I was going to say the same thing about the water jugs being a weights lifting workout too. Hi Dawyna. Just read WallFlowers comment twice today. /nod : )

First of all...5 hours? I would die. Seriously. You are my hero. Holy freaking cow.

You're a rockstar, I would have been throwing down if nobody helped me! Those things are 40 lbs a piece when they're full. :)

And... I'll watch your kids so you can take a nap if you'll watch mine while I take one! LOL

Manda I feel like a slacker too. Girl just go take a nap, you can 'get lost' in your room for an hour just changing out of your clothes, sneak a nap in or at least some time to sit still and not have to take care of anyone but yourself.
