As I sit here in my size 20 (started at 24) pants I have a smile on my face. Not because of the pant size, but because of the support I receive from my BOOBS.
It just so happens that yesterday I was feeling kinda like a band failure and that this was not going to work. I had a short but sweet text conversation with a fellow BOOB. I let her know what I was feeling. She asked me if I was participating in my local support group. I told her no, because I don't really like the people at my office. The only support I have are my BOOBS and my husband and mom.
She offered me even more support over the phone. It was really uplifting. She was able to lift me up out of my funk even with all she has been through. Thank you so much. I love you, Jen. I can't wait to meet you in person.
I feel renewed today.
I will try to find a local support group. It would be nice to have a local band buddy.
I have tons of work to get off my desk today. I will post again later about challenge updates.

I feel very grateful to have my best friend on this journey with me, but also the support of the BOOBs has been an immeasurable help.
luv ya Dawnya!
I keep thinking about joining a local support group. Honestly, it will have to wait until after I finish school, but I will seriously look into it then. I'm so happy that you had someone there to help life you up. And don't ever hesitate to contact me either! (((hugs)))
I am so happy to have this community of bloggers!! I feel like I have the best support! If you need it I will be more then happy to send support your way!
I feel like having a local banded friend is super important! I have one, and it's been a tremendous help. I've never been to a support group, but that sounds like something you should try, you never know who you'll meet! I might even have to go to one. Scout out the atmosphere, see if there are any cute, single men. Mmm.
Anyway, we all love you, Dawnya! No way we're gonna let you be a band failure, and no way you're gonna let yourself. :)
Even though I'm just a newbie, I totally feel you on this one. Looking forward to meeting you in Chicago!!
I didn't even know you were feeling down, I'm so glad we texted! I am suuuuuper excited about Chicago. I'm so in love with you I might hump your leg when I finally get to meet you :) just kidding- kind of. Hope you are having a great day today, bet you are lookin hotter than hot in your new smaller jeans!
Loves!
BOOBS power!!!
Jen is awesome, she helped me without knowing it the other day too. She's the sweetest, but will tell you straight. Love her!
I hope you are feeling better. You are no a band failure, and you're not going to be! Maybe you're a slower loser like me? It's a pain in the ass, but slow and steady wins the race. I don't jump up and down 7 lbs. in day or a week, but I'm steady. And it's OK.
I agree that this is one beautiful group of individuals who lift us, carry us sometimes, make us smile, and push us forward when we need it!
(((hugggsss))) to YOU!!!
that's why we are here!
I hear we are drag soul-sisters! I am fluent in drag. RuPaul is my mentor!
Jen is great like that! If she starts humping your leg I want pictures... we can add them to the pics of her and Amey. :)
Support is so important and although I'm new around here I am finding everyone to be so supportive!! Glad you're feeling better!
Love the support of everyone on the blogs! It's so nice to be able to talk to people that know what you are going through!
The support is wonderful, and I am happy that I am now following you, include me in your support group!!
hugs!!
Hey, I'm in Killeen for at least 6 more months. Wanna be my buddy? (not in a creepy way of course)
I'm a slow loser and I'm not nearly as disciplined as I need to be to make it happen faster. The heat is unbearable I can't imagine doing anything more that walking from the house to the car to turn the A/C on Max, I commend you for exercising!!
