...in the prison!! So yesterday the damn power decide to just go out at work. Of course working in a prison this is not a safe or acceptable way to spend your day. While everyone was scrambling to figure out what to do. I was totally pissed off, because I couldn't read my blogs at work.
Yes...we have a back up generator. Yet, you don't want to turn that on until you figure out where the power surge came from and if it is more to it. Needless to say the power didn't come back on until 2 this morning. If I'm honest I was hoping it wouldn't be on when I came to work this morning. I was going to turn around and walk back out. LOL...the inmates were pissed off...because it was 105 yesterday...and they had no A/C...how sad for them.
OMG...the totally sexy boots and shoes I ordered from urbanog came yesterday. My mom tried on my shoes and nearly fell on her face. Let's just say that little short lady should not have put on my 6 inch heels. It was hilarious...I almost peed myself laughing at her.
Needless to say...I'm sleepy. I didn't go to bed until 12:15 am and I woke up at 4:15 am so that I could be here at 6 o'clock. I need to leave early so that I can take these glasses back. They just do not look good on me.

How can you even work without power? Hell, when our network used to go down at the office, we literally did nothing.
