So those evil migraines are back with a vengeance. I have had a headache here or there, but not a migraine in sometime. Then 2 months ago they started to rear their ugly little heads again. So I'm not a happy camper. I also have a serious lack of energy. I mean I know I don't get much sleep, but sister girl is TIRED!! I want so rest.
After the fill appointment from hell I saw my PCP and explained all of this to her. She put me migraine preventative which is also a blood pressure medicine, since my BP was elevated. I"m totally OK with that. She also took some blood work to undercover why I'm so tired. She recommended I get a sleep study when I told her that after I lay down it still takes me close to an hour to fall asleep.
I'm hoping by getting more exercise it will help with my sleep issues. My exercise has been virtually non existent for the past 2 weeks. It started up again on yesterday. So hopefully I can meet the goal I set for exercise this month.
This weekend is my family reunion. I DON'T WANT TO PARTICIPATE!!! But I will go and plaster a smile on my face. I will even let people hug my kids (which I'm not a fan of...because they could have the swine.) I will do my best to have fun. The cool part is we are going to Fiesta Texas (six flags) so there will be tons of walking and hopefully roller coaster riding. OMG. I pray I can fit into the roller coaster ride.
Have a great holiday weekend everyone.

Hope the BP meds do the trick for you. I didn't discover them until I had suffered from horrendous migraines for over 20 years...then magic... beta-blockers!!!!
The Swine! Ha :) I miss you girl!
I had the same thought as Debi! "The swine." hehe Makes me LOL. But really out loud.
Feel better, girl! :)
Hee hee, the swine! :) Love you girl. Have a blast at the reunion, even though you don't want to go.
Oh God - we're twins. I don't sleep. When I do - it seems like it takes hours to fall asleep. High BP no matter how much weight I lose and migraines that send me to the ER. I just went on a preventive myself...so annoying. I'm so sorry you have one...take care babycakes.
I've been a migraine sufferer for as long as I can remember, but now I only get them once or twice a year. Back in high school and college they were a 3 or 4 time a month thing. Feel better soon, roomie!!
I've also been a migraine sufferer and they come in cycles for me. I'll go years with out them and than boom, I get them a few times a year. Feel better and try to enjoy your family reunion.
I hope the meds help. With all you've been doing lately and Hubby out of town, maybe stress has brought it on? Feel better sweetie!
Very sorry to hear about the return for the migraines. I hope that the reunion ends up being some fun for you. Take care.
I'm a fan of modern medicine for any ailment ... hope you get the migraine figured out soon. Hope once you get to the reunion ... you'll enjoy. Man, I am full of hope today ... take care of yourself. Or, skip the reunion and get a massage !
Thank you for always putting sweet and motivating comments on my blog! Have a great weekend :-)
Hope the meds help! That is no fun!
