This is only my opinion. Seriously, I ate breakfast today for the first time in awhile. Let me just say, since that meal I have been starving. Everything I bought to hold me over throughout the day (which usually does) is gone. My yogurt...gone...orange...gone, granola...gone....chicken....gone and on and on. It's crazy I don't usually get hungry until 11:00 a.m. However, today...once that time rolled around all my food was gone. LOL
I will not eat breakfast again anytime soon. It's not even head hunger...it is stomach growling hunger. Crazy!!
I'm feeling good about my life right now. I'm loving the changes in me. My smile is even brighter. I'm so excited about the Suddenly Spring Challenge.
I've decided to step up my work outs in an effort to meet a six month weight loss goal of 50 lbs lost. I need more high energy aerobics. I'm so excited about the summer this year. I WILL wear a bathing suit.

I read an article recently about a study that said that eating breakfast is actually not as important as they had previously thought. I don't know if it would cause your hunger though. Every once in a while I just have "hungry" days where nothing keeps me satisfied.
I totally agree. If I eat breakfast, I literally feel sick all day long. That goes back to being a little kid when my mom would force me to eat - cause it was the way it was supposed to be. When she did succeed - the school would call for her to come get me cause I was sick. My mom even said as a baby I would not take any "food" before 11am. Nowadays, the one thing I've found that doesn't screw me over is a smoothie. I like breakfast foods - just not at breakfast time!
I get super hungry too when I eat breakfast but I eat it just to get my metabolism going for the day.
your body is fasting until you eat your first meal of food. Break-fast :)
I say give it a try for a week and see how it goes. your body gets a little used to it but you do have to learn how to space your meals and snacks differently.
I think it has deffinatly helped my weight loss.
Wow this is quite an interesting post especially since I know from experience that whenever I skip breakfast I get extremely hungry. I ALWAYS binge if I skip breakfast. Maybe it's what you had for breakfast? For example if i eat oatmeal for breakfast I get extremely hungry. I normally have eggs and toast and a fruit for breakfast by 8am or I would eat grits and tuna and I am fine until around 2pm. But either way you have to do what works for you. Isn't it interesting how there is no universal rules? Just because something works for me doesn't mean it will work for you.
Good luck with reaching your goals. I want to lose 30-40lbs by June...
The reason you get hungry after eating breakfast is because when you eat early it kicks your metabolism in, and you start burning more calories than you would had you not eaten. By eating a small snack when your hungry again you keep the metabolism going. It's really a good thing!
I agree completely. Honestly, I think it's true for any meal. If you're not hungry, don't eat. Period. I think everyone's different ont he breakfast thing. I also think it depends on WHAT you eat. If I have a bagel, I'll be starving but if I have sausage and eggs...stuffed until lunch.
